Welcome to the new home of the Sycamore Corps! Make a difference in the community by encouraging these youth to continue to improve their lives and to build up the community through their service. After all, the youth are the ones who will be the future guides in the world!
Community Service
The Sycamore Corps is a group of local at-risk students that form a positive peer support group to help each other to become the best that they can be while helping to serve the community. The experiences they gain in learning life skills and serving the community will help each member to achieve strong results in their life with the ultimate goal of being enrolled, enlisted, or employed. This will help our community to have productive citizens that can themselves be in a position to have families that help society.

The Sycamore Center is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to fund all of the events. Donations make our mission possible, so any amount given goes a long way for providing events and activities for the youth that attend the Sycamore Center.
We look for speakers, teachers, and people who may want to assist the group with community service events. Businesses and churches can help too.
The Sycamore Youth Center provides dynamic after-school programming for over 400 students in the area along with a specialty community service program called the Sycamore Corps.

The Sycamore Corps will continue onward, in memory of the passing of Steve Forte, whose vision and dream included the success of all children in the Ohio Valley. We thank him for his love and dedication to the betterment of so many children!

The Ohio Valley Youth Network is an alliance of individuals and groups working together to provide dynamic life skills training and experiences to children and young adults of the upper Ohio Valley.
The OVYN is the 501c3 Non-Profit that owns and runs the Sycamore Youth Center.
